Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed to package instructions
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup shredded Italian cheese
- Pepperoni slices, to taste
- ½ cup fresh oregano and basil, roughly chopped

Homemade Spicy Tomato Sauce:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp Cloud23 Sweet Jalapeño Hot Sauce
Directions
- Make the Sauce: Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in Cloud23 Sweet Jalapeño Hot Sauce and remove from heat. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Pastry: Preheat oven to 425°F. Lay the puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using a paring knife, cut a 1-inch border on all sides of the pastry. Poke holes in the center with a fork. Brush the entire surface with beaten egg. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven. Press down the center with a spatula to flatten.
- Assemble the Pizza: Spread the homemade spicy tomato sauce evenly over the pastry center. Top with shredded cheese and pepperoni. Bake for another 10 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
