These hot halloumi and peach skewers strike that perfect balance of sweet, salty, and just enough heat. Charred on the grill and brushed with a smoky-spicy glaze, they’re easy to pull together but feel a little elevated—whether you’re hosting friends or just making something good for yourself. Best served right off the grill while the cheese is golden and the peaches are juicy.

Makes about 12 skewers.

Ingredients
- 5 ripe peaches, pitted and cut into wedges
- 12oz halloumi, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 red onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
- ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp Cloud23 Hot Habanero Hot Sauce
Directions
Soak skewers for at least 30 minutes.
When ready to prep, assemble the skewers by adding the peach, halloumi, and onion pieces to the skewer and place on a baking sheet. Be careful with the halloumi as it may split and fall off the skewers. If that happens, just use smaller pieces on the skewer.
In a small bowl, whisk together the oil and hot sauce. Using a pastry brush, brush each skewer with the oil hot sauce mixture, making sure to coat on all sides.
Preheat the grill to medium heat, about 375 degrees. Add the skewers to the grill and cook for a few minutes on each side, until lightly charred. Remove from the grill and serve as is or on a bed of greens as a salad. Enjoy immediately.
